Terms & Conditions for "A Taste of San Diego"

Food Tastings are done at 5 to 7 locations depending on the tour you choose, the date and time

Walking Tour Booking & Rates
Walking tours are $ 75.00  or $90.00 per person
Prices are per person with a 2 Minimum guests per booking and a 8 Maximum booking per tour
Only our Downtown walking tour we will take single bookings

All times scheduled are approximate
A Taste of SD reserves the right to change tour prices and times of tours without advance notice

Reservations are not guaranteed until full payment is received and confirmation is provided
Your credit card will be charged 100% of the amount at the time of order
All Transactions are in US Dollars
We recommend you reserve your tour at least 2 weeks in advance

Meeting Locations for Walking Tours
On the Walking Tours, all guests must meet a specified location of the tour
Meeting time is 10 minutes before tour time
If you miss the tour you will not be refunded
Parking is not included
Tours are 2 ½ hours to 3 hours long so do not park in metered parking due to max is 2 hours

Driving Tour Booking & Rates
Driving Tours are $99.00 per person
Prices are Per Person with a 8 Minimum guests booking per tour and 12 Maximum booking per tour
All times scheduled are approximate
A Taste of SD reserves the right to change tour prices and times of tours without advance notice

Pick up Location for Driving Tours
Pick up & drop off is at the East Side of the Mission Valley Mall outside – Free Parking
Seau’s the Restaurant and Bed Bath & Beyond
1640 Camino Del Rio North, San Diego CA  92104

Be at Pick Up location 15 minutes before the tour starts
 If you miss the van, you will miss your tour and not be refunded

Tour Vans are air conditioned and full licensed by the PUC # TCP 25445P

Private Driving & Walking Tours
We have a Minimum of 6 guests to book a private tour
A Taste of SD can customize the food for your private tours
Private tours need to be booked at least 3 weeks in advance

Discounts
We do run occasional discounts on SanDiego.org through out the year
Contact us at info@atasteofsd.com for any Senior, AAA, Military or Travel Industry Discounts
Discounts will be shown on your paid confirmation

Discounted Purchased Vouchers
Customers who have purchased discounted vouchers must make their reservations by email
Email 2 to 3 dates you wish to take the tour, your voucher numbers, guest’s name and a cell number
You will be emailed back the date we can book your tour
A Taste of SD Terms & Conditions apply to all voucher sales
Guests who do not show up for tours will not be rescheduled or refunded
Guest who vouchers that have expired can apply the voucher amount toward the
tour they purchased and pay the difference.  Email info@atasteofsd.com for more information

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy:
Customer cancellations need to be 5 days before scheduled tour or you will be charged 100%
 Customer canceling 6 days before scheduled tour will receive a full refund
All cancellations must be emailed to info@tasteofsd.com
No Shows will not be given a refund
If a tour is undersold, guests will be given a 3-day notice and a full refund or can reschedule their tour

 

Changes to Your Reservation
There will be no charge for date changes 36 hours prior to the tour date
You need to email you request to info@ataseofsd.com and if there are opening available on that date you requested the change will be made and a confirmation will be emailed back to you

 
Languages
Tours are conducted in English.

 

Food Allergies and Food Restrictions
It is the guest’s responsibility to let the A Taste of SD know
if they have any food allergies or restrictions when they book their tours
In some cases, food items may be able to be switched out
We need to let restaurants know 24 hours in advance
A Taste of SD will not be held responsible for any guests not informing us of any food allergies or restrictions

Weather
Driving Tours may not be effective due to bad weather
Walking Tours may not be effective due to bad weather
Bring coat or umbrella if needed to due weather conditions
Tours can be cancelled 2 hours before the tour is scheduled and will be rescheduled or refunded

 

What to wear
Dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes preferably No High Heels for driving tours
Bring a jacket if you need to
Don’t forget your camera

 

Tips, Gratuities, Meals and Smoking
The tip or gratuity for guides is at your discretion and not included in any tour pricing
All food tasting, tax on food, tip to restaurants and water is included in the cost of the tour
You are welcome to purchase any extra items you like at any of the locations we will be visiting
We do not have room to carry any food items that will need to stay cool in the van
There is no smoking in vehicles, public buildings, bars and restaurants

 

Reserved seating
Seating for driving tours is on a first come, first served basis, no assigned seating is available
We cannot be held responsible in the event that your group is unable to sit together on a van
We ask that you sit in the same seat though out the whole tour
We are not responsible for any items you leave in the van during the tour
The van will be locked at each location

 

Travelers with wheelchairs or strollers
Vans can only accommodate wheel chairs and strollers if they can be folded and the tour is not sold out
Drivers are unable to assist such passengers in boarding or exiting the van due to insurance restrictions
If you need assistance boarding the van please bring a guest to help you for the tour

 

For security reasons and to reduce fraud a Photo ID will be required by the guide with a copy of your confirmation. The last name on the confirmation must match the Photo ID

All guests must agree to the Terms & Conditions listed above when making your reservations
