Tour # 1 “Hometown Tour” Note: You will be picked up outside between Seau’s the Restaurant and Bed Bath & Beyond between 9:15 to 9:30 AM. Tour van will leave at 9:30 AM. If you miss the van you will miss your tour and not be refunded. You will be dropped off at the same location.
“Hometown and Triple D Food Tour” Note: You will be picked up outside between Seau’s the Restaurant and Bed Bath & Beyond between 9:15 to 9:30 AM. Tour van will leave at 9:30 AM. If you miss the van you will miss your tour and not be refunded. You will be dropped off at the same location.
“A Taste of Downtown” Walking Tour Note: This is a 3 Hour Walking Tasting Tour through 18 blocks or 1.4 Miles of Downtown San Diego. We will meet at the corner of 6th Ave & J Street, San Diego CA, 92101 at the 5 Star Parking Lot. Parking is not included in the cost of the tour. Please be at the meeting spot by 2:50PM. Tour will leave at 3:00PM. If you miss the tour, you will not be refunded.
“A Taste of Mission Hills” This is a 3 Hour Walking Tour through the Heart of Mission Hills. We will meet at the North West Corner of West Washington and Falcon Street, San Diego CA 92103. There is a underground parking lot on Falcon Street just past W. Washington. Parking is not included in the cost of the tour. Please be at the meeting spot by 2:50PM. The tour will leave at 3:00PM. If you miss the tour, you will not be refunded.
Any guest over 21 years of age can purchase a Champagne and Wine tasting pairing for $25.00 each. This needs to purchased on line.
Tour Vans are air conditioned and full licensed by the PUC –TCP # 25445P
Tours include tasting at 5 to 8 Restaurants. Bottle water is included with all tours
For security reasons and to reduce fraud a Photo ID will be required and a copy of your confirmation. The last name on the confirmation must match the Photo ID.
No Alcoholic Beverages are allowed in the Van or to be purchased by A Taste of SD.
Food Allergies & Restrictions
It is the guest’s responsibility to let A Taste of SD know if they have any food allergies or restrictions when they are booking their food tour. A Taste of SD will try to change out food items if possible. A Taste of SD will not be held responsible for any guests not informing the guides on any food allergies or restrictions. We cannot guaranty that the food on the tour is Kosher.
Booking
Tour #1 “Hometown Tour” is available Wednesday, Friday & Saturday Only from 9:30AM to 2:00PM
“Hometown and Triple D Food Tour” is available Tuesday & Thursday only from 9:30AM to 2:00PM
“A Taste of Downtown” Tour is available Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00PM to 6:00PM
“A Taste of Mission Hills” Tour is available Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 3:00PM to 6:00PM
Please be at your pick up location or meeting place at least 10 minutes early.
A Taste of SD has the right to cancel any under booked tours with in 24 hours of the tour and will notify
Customer by email and customer will be rescheduled or refunded 100%.
Rates & Booking Information
Tour # 1 “Hometown Tour” is $99.00 per person with a Minimum 2 per booking and a Maximum of 12 per booking using our own van. Call for pricing on groups larger than 12.
“Hometown and Triple D Food Tour” is $99.00 per person with a Minimum 2 per booking and a Maximum of 10 per booking using our own van. Call for pricing on groups larger than 12.
“A Taste of Downtown” walking tour is $75.00 per person no Minimum booking and a Maximum of 8 per booking.
“A Taste of Mission Hills” walking tour is $ 75.00 per person with a Minimum 2 per booking and a Maximum of 8 per booking.
Reservations are not guaranteed until full payment is received and confirmation is provided. Your credit card will be
charged 100% of the amount at the time of order. All Transactions are in US Dollars.
A Taste of San Diego reserves the right to change tour prices without advance notice.
We recommend you reserve your food tour at least 2 weeks in advance.
“A Taste of Downtown” or “A Taste of Mission Hills” tour can be canceled due to severe weather. Tour can be canceled up to 1 hour before start time of tour. If we cancel tour due to weather conditions, customer can reschedule (subject to availability) or receive a credit for future tour.
Private Tours
Private Tours are available with a minimum of 6 per booking & 12 Max per van and 8 Max for A Taste of Downtown or A Taste of Mission Hills Walking Tour. Driving Tours, we can also accommodate Large Parties from 15 to 45 Guests. We recommend a minimum 3 weeks notice for Large Private Tours. What to wear
Please Dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes such as Tennis Shoes, flats because you will be either getting in & out of van or walking for approximately1.4 miles. Bring a jacket if you feel you will need to. For our
walking tour you may not want to carry a heavy or large purse during the tour and don’t forget your camera.
Tips, Gratuities, Meals and Smoking
Tips or Gratuity for guides is customary in this industry. It is at your discretion and appreciated and not
included in any tour pricing. If your guides does a good job please tip them accordingly. Tasting and Bottle water is
included in the cost of all tours.
You are welcome to purchase any extra items you like at any of the restaurants & markets we will be visiting. In our
van we do not have room to carry any food items that will need to stay cool.
There is no smoking in vehicles, public buildings, bars and restaurants.
Travelers with wheelchairs, children or strollers
Vans can only accommodate wheel chairs and strollers if they can be folded and the tour is not sold out. We do not
provide car seats for children. Drivers and Guides are unable to assist such passengers in boarding or exiting the van due to insurance restrictions. If you need extra assistance boarding the van please bring a guest to help you for the tour.
